A Review of A Game Called Arthur by Debra Best

If anyone ever saw Timothy on stage in London in 1970 where he appreared in A Game Called Arthur I would love to hear from you. In the meantime though I am very fortunate to have an interview that Timothy gave in New York when he was promoting Wuthering Heights in 1971, and this is what he said about A Game Called Arthur.

"I play a 24-year-old virgin-he couldn't make it. He's looking for beauty. It's very funny and very sad. He's looking for the ideal in life, in woman, and this trendy bird comes to him on a bet and he loves her and he's so happy....."Timothy started acting out some lines, his eyes close as he sees her approaching, his 'voice turning softer, gentler......"He is looking for beauty and truth," he said, now back in the Park Avenue suite. "The good thing about it is that you've been through some aspect of it yourself." - Timothy Dalton.
